The aim of the Institute was to transform and expand the skills centres, laboratories and student areas needed for medical and health sciences training. Other infrastructure improvements included an increase in the number of teaching spaces in the centre and the complete renovation of the relevant parts of the building in the areas covered by the technical design documents, as well as the replacement of the fa\u00e7ade windows and the installation of fa\u00e7ade shutters.<\/p>\n<p>A special operating theatre has been created where real medical equipment is used to practice surgical procedures for educational and demonstration purposes.
